Journal 17

Journal #17 says using sensory details (sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste), write a passage that starts with "As the light blue fuzz feathered through the warm current of air purring from the heating vent, . . .

As the light blue fuzz feathered through the warm current of air purring from the heating vent a young girl named Jessica freaked out. Breaking the silence in her honors english class, she exclaimed, "A bird, a bird. A feather, do not let it on me! Help. Help"

The class started laughing they all knew Jessie was afraid of birds. She had a had a horrible experience when she was in fifth grade. She was at her friend Ginger's house and they decided to watch a scary movie. The movie talked about crows taking over people's homes and attacking them. It freaked Jessie out and from then on she was afraid of birds.

Mr. Pirate ran to Jessie, he did not know she had a phobia of birds. "What are you doing?" He yelled. "This is a horrible distribution  I will poke you in the eye if you do not shut up."

Jessie began to cry. Mr. Pirate really hated her. Almost as much as her cheer coach Stephan. "I am sorry." She said in a whispered voice. "I am very afraid."

Mr. Pirate just shook his head and pointed to the door. Jessie left with her head down in shame. She walked all the way to the office. She thought about leaving. Her cute Kia Rio was right outside and the keys were in her pocket. She decided against it. Trembling because she knew her dad would be very upset. She sat down and waited.

The a fire alarm went off. Everyone ran out of the building. Jessie's head shot up. She had fallen asleep in English class. It was all just a dream... or more like a nightmare. When she awoke a blue feather was laying on her desk. She screamed.

THE END
